The Medley Ergo Low from Invacare offers the perfect balance of economy, functionality and quality. The optimised length of the various mattress platform sections provides increased comfort for clients when sitting up in bed. It also reduces shear and friction when the bed sections are being adjusted and prevents clients sliding downwards. The Medley Ergo Low offers all the same benefits as the Medley Ergo, but boasts extra-low height levels, thus maximising safety for individuals as risk of falling out of bed.

The Medley Ergo Low can be transformed into the Invacare Medley Ergo Low Select. The Low Select is a particularly stylish model in natural beech, creating a homely feel suited to any environment (see image 2 for this bed). Optimised dimensions of the mattress platform

The mattress platform sections has optimal dimensions designed in accordance with anthroprometric statistics and has been pressure mapped during the design process.. The Medley Ergo Low offers:

Height range supports clients and carers

The flexible design of the Medley Ergo Low allows the bed to be mounted at a low height, or a higher position if preferred, creating a range of working heights for the carer and transfer heights for the client. This is facilitated by the unique feature of the bed end, which enables the mattress support to be mounted in both upper and lower positions.

All Invacare nursing care beds and related optional accessories are developed, tested, and compliant according to standard BS EN 60601-2- 52:2010+A1:2015 for adult beds.  It is important to understand the intended use of beds that are compliant to this standard. This standard specifically applies to adult beds, more specifically, individuals over 146 cm in height, exceeding 40 kg in weight, and having a BMI of more than 17.
